What Other Tesla Referral Pages Get Wrong

Referral pages age badly: the program changes and the copy does not. Here are the claims that outlived the facts.

Below are the claims we most often see repeated after they stopped being true — each struck through, with the verified fact and a primary source beside it. For the dated record of when each change happened, see the front-page changelog.

Correction

The one that matters most: Model S and Model X were removed from the North America referral program in March 2026. Any page listing them as qualifying is out of date.

How to spot a stale referral page in five seconds

It lists Model S or Model X as qualifying (both were removed in March 2026).
It quotes a cash “discount” instead of the three-month FSD (Supervised) trial.
It promises free Supercharging as the buyer reward.
It tells you to type a code into a coupon box at checkout — there isn't one.
It carries no date and names no author.
