Tesla Referral Code for Canada (2026)

The same three-month FSD trial as south of the border, but the money is in CAD and the stackable incentives — and one referrer caveat — are Canada-specific.

For a Canadian buyer, a Tesla referral code adds three months of Full Self-Driving (Supervised) to an eligible Model 3, Model Y or Cybertruck order, billed in Canadian dollars. As in the US, Model S and Model X carry no referral benefit after March 2026. The differences worth knowing are the currency, the shifting federal/provincial incentive picture, and a British Columbia caveat on the referrer reward.

For the program-wide picture see the current status and the corrections; this page is the Canada-specific detail. Buying in the US instead? Read the US edition.

Solar in Canada

Tesla's residential solar lineup is not broadly sold across Canada the way it is in the US, and energy-product offers vary by region. Rather than repeat a US solar figure that may not apply, confirm what Tesla currently offers in your province — and whether a referral benefit attaches — at tesla.com/en_ca.

Federal & provincial rebates you can stack (verify current)

The referral FSD trial is separate from any government rebate, so using a referral never costs you a rebate. The picture on the government side is in flux:

How to apply

  1. Open the referral link first

Before you configure anything, open a valid referral link (a ts.la/… address wraps an owner's code). This tags your session so the benefit is recognised.

  2. Configure and place your order

Build your Model 3, Model Y or eligible Cybertruck and go to the order screen. The 3-month FSD (Supervised) benefit shows in the order summary before payment — there is no coupon box to type into.

  3. Confirm it applied, then pay

Check the order summary lists the referral benefit before you submit. Tesla does not add a referral after an order is placed, so verify it is there first.

Canada-specific questions

How much is the Canadian referral benefit worth?

The same three-month FSD (Supervised) trial as the US, billed in Canadian dollars. We do not print a precise CAD figure because Tesla's monthly FSD price in Canada changes — confirm it at tesla.com/en_ca before relying on a number.

Is FSD (Supervised) available to use in Canada?

FSD (Supervised) is offered as an option in Canada; road rules and regulatory approval for hands-off use differ from the US, so use it within the law where you drive. The referral simply gives you three months of the feature set Tesla makes available in Canada.

Do referrers in British Columbia earn the $250 credit?

Referrer rewards can be restricted by provincial rules. British Columbia's consumer-incentive regulations have limited referral rewards in the past, so a referrer in BC may not receive the $250 credit even when the buyer's benefit still applies. Verify the current status before relying on the referrer reward in BC.

Which federal or provincial rebates can I stack?

The referral FSD trial is separate from any government rebate. The federal iZEV program has been paused/in flux; Quebec's Roulez vert program is the main active provincial incentive. Check the current status of each before counting on it — these change often.
