Tesla's residential solar lineup is not broadly sold across Canada the way it is in the US, and energy-product offers vary by region. Rather than repeat a US solar figure that may not apply, confirm what Tesla currently offers in your province — and whether a referral benefit attaches — at tesla.com/en_ca.

Federal & provincial rebates you can stack (verify current)

The referral FSD trial is separate from any government rebate, so using a referral never costs you a rebate. The picture on the government side is in flux:

• Federal — iZEV is closed; EVAP replaced it. The iZEV program most Canadian guides still name paused in January 2025 when its funding was exhausted and closed to new applications on 31 March 2025. The EV Affordability Program (EVAP) replaced it, opening 16 February 2026 with up to $5,000 on an eligible battery-electric vehicle. If a page still describes iZEV as merely "paused", it predates that replacement.
• Quebec — Roulez vert: the main active provincial program; confirm the current rebate amount and eligibility.
• British Columbia: provincial rules have restricted referral rewards, so the $250 referrer credit may not be available to referrers in BC even when the buyer's FSD benefit still applies. Verify before relying on it.

Why you should not convert the US dollar figure

US coverage of this benefit routinely prices it at "about $300", from three months of a subscription listed around $99. It is tempting to convert that into Canadian dollars and call it done. Don't — the conversion is wrong twice over.

• The subscription is priced locally, not converted. Tesla sets the FSD (Supervised) monthly price per market. A Canadian buyer's three free months are worth three Canadian monthly payments, whatever those happen to be — a number that has no fixed relationship to the US figure and no exchange rate in it.
• The value is personal before it is national. Three months of a subscription is worth its price only to someone who would otherwise have subscribed. To a buyer who wouldn't, it is an interesting three months and a saving of nothing. That is true in both countries, and no currency conversion changes it.

So the honest Canadian figure is: three times whatever tesla.com/en_ca shows as the monthly FSD (Supervised) price today, and only if you would have paid it. We deliberately don't print a CAD total on this page, because it would be a converted US number wearing a maple leaf.

The one thing that is genuinely Canada-specific

Strip out the currency and the incentive churn, and exactly one structural difference remains between a Canadian and an American referral — and it sits on the referrer's side, not the buyer's.

The buyer benefit is North-America-flat: the same three-month trial, on the same eligible models, attached by the same link-first mechanic. What differs is that a referrer resident in British Columbia may not receive the referrer credit at all, even on an order where the buyer's benefit applies normally. That asymmetry has a practical consequence worth stating plainly:

• If you are a BC owner sharing your code, share it because it helps the buyer — not because it pays you. Anyone telling BC owners to share for the credit is describing a reward they may not receive.
• If you are a buyer using a BC owner's code, nothing changes for you. Your side of the benefit is unaffected by where the code's owner lives.

It is also the single fact on this page least likely to appear on a competing Canadian referral page, for the obvious reason that it discourages the sharing those pages depend on.

How to apply

   Open the referral link first

   Before you configure anything, open a valid referral link (a ts.la/… address wraps an owner's code). This tags your session so the benefit is recognised.

   Configure and place your order

   Build your Model 3, Model Y or eligible Cybertruck and go to the order screen. The 3-month FSD (Supervised) benefit shows in the order summary before payment — there is no coupon box to type into.

   Confirm it applied, then pay

   Check the order summary lists the referral benefit before you submit. Tesla does not add a referral after an order is placed, so verify it is there first.
